Story

Art nouveau architecture – designed by Georges Matthyssens in 1913 – protected since 1983 and established as architectural heritage since 2019

This historical monument, first built in 1913 is one of the most eye-catching buildings on the Meir in Antwerp, the most prestigious and well-visited shopping boulevard in Flanders. The ground and first floor have been transformed into a modern space that harmoniously accommodates a contemporary retail location. The fully intact art nouveau façade adds to its appeal.
